MARTY CLEARED!!!!!

As of November12th, 2007 all departmental charges stemming from the August 8th, 2007 filing made by former Chief C. Lynn Centonze have been dropped by Fairfield Police Department's Officer In Charge Lt. Charles Voelker.

Sergeant Marty Brennan's thirteen month long ordeal is now over. Once facing multiple threats of termination by an overzealous act of retribution, Sergeant Brennan or "Marty" as his many "Friends" call him has been returned to full, active duty; has now been released from improperly filed charges and now, at worst, faces a maximum 5 day suspension from the first hearing officer, Mr. Frank Donato, Retired  Superior Court Judge.  Though we are certain he will see this for what it truly is.

A great weight has been lifted off the shoulders of not only Marty but his devoted wife, Tia Brennan, and his three terrific children; as well as his entire loving family, devoted co-workers and tireless and enduring supporters.  Marty and his family can not adequately express their love and faith in all those that stood by them throughout this travesty.

Though this is not entirely over, truly today is a day ...

...when Right has won over Wrong!!

God Bless each and everyone one of the

"Friends of Marty"
